This Refund Policy applies to license purchases of the Balo offline redaction tool made directly through the website of Balo.ai GmbH (“Balo.ai”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
2. 14‑day refund period
We offer a 14‑day return and refund period for all new license purchases made via our website.
You may request a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase, without needing to state a reason.
3. Conditions for refunds
To be eligible for a refund under this policy:

You must submit your refund request within 14 days of the purchase date to info@redact-pro.com.

Your request must include your name, order number, and license key (if applicable).

You must confirm in writing that you will:

stop using the software,

uninstall all copies from your devices, and

no longer use any license keys or activation data provided.

Balo.ai may deactivate or block license keys associated with a refunded order to prevent further use.
Refund requests submitted after the 14‑day period may be declined.
4. How refunds are processed
If your refund request is approved:

Refunds are normally issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise.

We aim to process approved refunds within a reasonable time after confirmation and deactivation of the license.

Any fees or currency conversion costs charged by your payment provider are your responsibility, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
5. Trial versions
If we offer a trial or evaluation version of the software, you can use this to test suitability before purchasing a license.
This Refund Policy applies only to paid licenses purchased through our website and does not create any rights with respect to free trials or evaluation versions.
6. No responsibility for redaction results
You are solely responsible for configuring, testing and reviewing the redaction results produced by the software, including verifying that all confidential, personal or otherwise sensitive information has been correctly removed or masked in the final documents.
Balo.ai does not review your documents and assumes no responsibility or liability for incomplete, incorrect or insufficient redaction, any residual data, or any consequences arising from the use, sharing or publication of documents processed with the software.
7. Consumers and mandatory rights
If you are a consumer and the laws of your country grant you mandatory rights (for example, statutory withdrawal or refund rights for distance contracts), those rights remain unaffected by this Refund Policy.
In case of conflict between this Refund Policy and non‑waivable statutory consumer rights, the statutory rights prevail for the affected consumer.
